ON THE WATERFRONT

BACK AT VICTORIA QUAYS - FIRST TIME SINCE 2007!

A family event celebrating the sights and sounds of Sheffield's beautiful canal basin.

All sorts of activites and entertainment including, music and dance, fairground rides, den building with Activity Sheffield Play Rangers, art & craft market, childrens craft activites, woodland craft demos, WOW balls, water sport demos, food, ecology and environmental information stalls. Activities being added all the time, keep checking for updates.

Promoted by Groundwork and British Waterways, supported by Natural England and Quays traders.

LIVE MUSIC STAGE

• MINI BEAST MAYHEM  -   Discover mini beasts and plantlife beside the water - 45 minutes of fun activities with Groundwork's Blue Loop River Steward -  Book at the Groundwork Information Stall
• FIVE WEIRS WALK  -  a guided walk along part of the Five Weirs Walk  - starts from Event Information at Arch 17
• LIZZIE DRIPPING  -   dance performances by Sheffield's ever popular traditional clog dancers
• INDUSTRIAL HERITAGE TRAIL  -  a guided walk around the Quays, including the Grain Warehouse, hear all about the history of the Canal Basin
