This is the website of the Sheffield Canal Company Limited - originally established by Act of Parliament in 1815.

Today the 'Company' exists by name (and this website) only, as a Non Trading Company, with the aim of providing a community and educational resource relating to the Sheffield Canal.

This site is not yet public - so you will have arrived here either by accident or by invitation, whatever the case, welcome!
